   I know where Americus is, although I've never lived there. The culture is far different than what you grew up with in Metro Atlanta. Lots of bible-thumping Fundamentalists, for sure!

   i like it here....habitat for humanity headquarters is here...ga sw college...jimmy carter is right down the road in plains. yep...lots of bible thumpers too, but they were in atlanta metro too...just more educated and more money..lol. i was super tired of th crowds and trafffic and chaos...so i took a job down here to lower stress level and had just started work at the hospital when a tornado blew it away!!! talk about stress!!!.....it has been stressful and surreal ever since!

   Where in the Peach State do you live. I went to Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville and then moved to Atlanta, where I lived in North Decatur, Buckhead, Jonesboro and Clarkston! Still have some friends there that I am in contact with!
